About

1 Time

I am Aryhel “1 Time” Freeman, born and raised in Atlanta, GA. My passion to create music started in fourth grade when I wrote (with assistance of my teacher) an anti-drug song to perform for my peers and teachers during an assembly. Fast forwarding to 2005, I left college and started working at Orangeburg Department of Public Safety in Orangeburg, SC as a police officer and fire fighter. I took my love for music and started writing songs from the perspective of a police officer. These song turned into an album that later became my first album and the first album of its kind, Respect the Shield (2009). With no marketing, this album was able to create a buzz within the law enforcement community with songs like I’m the Police, Respect the Shield and The Shoe Must Go On.  I was recently feature on the album Human (2016) by Forensics on his title track Human. I am currently working on a new album "Blue Nation"; my fans will be able to see the growth in the sound and also be able to relate to some of the current events that have been taken place access the country.
